Save A Fortune: Frugal Christmas And Holidays Tip #4!

Christmas is most definitely on the horizon now and I'm back with tips that can help you to plan a frugal but fantastic Christmas for you and your family. I'll be posting these every couple of days from now on so please keep checking back for more hints and tips.

Today's frugal Christmas tip is a quick one concerning the decorations within your home and decorating without spending any money. If you have yet to put your decorations up then you can actually use last year's decorations and equipment you already have to make your Christmas as big and as bright as it has ever been.

Although some people have a mental block when it comes to using last year's decorations, there is often nothing wrong with them. Baubles and tinsel can be reused again and again for years and years before having to be replaced. If you want to give your tree a facelift then twine two pieces of tinsel together to make a bigger and brighter string. It is quite easy to get creative and brighten up your home like this. You could also get your children involved. Buy some art supplies for them and encourage them to decorate the computer desks in their room or one half of the living room each. Encourage them to make nativity scenes or collages. Get them involved as this will create an air of fun and anticipation for Christmas... and all on a budget!
