My £100 In 10 Days Challenge: The Results!

So I recently set myself a challenge to make £100 extra cash for Christmas in just 10 days. I was really hoping that this time it would work out that way if I diversified my earning means a little more. Well, the 10 days have now passed and the results are in, but did I do it?

Today.com - £8.87

Blogging at Today.com is an absolute joy. They pay you $1 per post and also give you a little extra for the unique visits you get as well. The people there are supportive and there is a real community feel so its easy to build up readers and get a little extra cash that way. In 10 days I earned a little under £10, so you can easily earn £30 extra a month just by blogging. If you're on an extra cash kick in the new year then this is a must!

Homepages Friends - £3.73

Getting paid for Internet searches is so easy it's ridiculous, as earning £3 from doing it in 10 days shows. I've been searching a lot as a result of some projects I'm doing at the moment but all are valid searches so I can get paid for them!

Greasy Palm - £35.60

Greasy Palm has been awesome this month because they've been offering £10 for a free trial at LOVEfilm and £8 for a free trial at Blockbuster. I took both offers up and earned cashback on my Christmas shopping too so I ended up with an easy £35.

Music Magpie - £5.74

I sold 5 old CDs to Music Magpie that I would never listen to again this month. I would have put them on Amazon but after all of their fees were taken off I wouldn't have made a profit so this way was far better.

Mo Pay - £30

My husband's mobile contract came up for renewal so he chose a new phone and we sold the old one at Mo Pay. They were offering the best price on the model and payment was really quick so it boosted my overall total somewhat!

Amazon - £15.94

Three books and one DVD - not bad for a quick sort out!

Total - £99.88

Not quite! 12p away from hitting that target so I think the phrase close but no cigar would sum it up nicely! Oh well, come January there will be a next time!
