Buy Your Car Comparison Sites Are Here!

Now I've heard of credit card, loan and insurance comparison sites but I had never, ever heard of car comparison sites... until today. Maybe I'm a little behind the times. I knew there were various car warehouse type sites but I had no idea that there were comparison sites that took various cars from various dealers all over the country. I was curious so I looked a little further into the concept...

I found Buy Your Car, which is pretty cool. It's a UK site and I don't think there's a US version of it yet. However, it's pretty comprehensive with sections on all sorts of used car including the Vauxhall Corsa, the Ford Focus and the LandRover, and there's much more where they came from!

You can search cars in your area or a certain make and model, pretty much like a financial comparison site, except obviously with cars to suit your wants and needs instead of credit cards. However, there is a car insurance and car loans section as well so it pretty much takes care of all of your wants and needs. I'll be taking a look on here when I decide what affordable car I want. I've pretty much given up on the Freelander because our house deposit comes first so I guess a cheaper car will have to do.

Lifelock Promo Codes: Protect Your Identity And Save Money

I’ve briefly touched on the importance of protecting your identity in previous posts but have yet to go into details. Well, if you wanted details here they are! Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in the world today, although it is obviously way more prevalent in countries like the USA, Canada, Italy, France, Spain and the UK than anywhere else. Unfortunately, it has already affected millions of people and will undoubtedly affect millions more in the future. If someone does steal your identity then you can wind up in severe debt and with a poor credit record that you can’t do anything about. Thinking about the current state of the economy, I couldn’t afford to be affected by identity theft and the majority of people are in the same boat as me. I’ve done a little scouting around and came across Lifelock.com.

Lifelock.com is apparently one of the best ID security programs that any individual could tap into to protect his or her identity. The features are pretty cool and actually go above and beyond what other similar programs offer (and I should know – when I was at university I had a part time job selling some of them!). It offers the ability to reduce junk mail (which often includes your personal details and may also include a pre-printed credit card application), free credit reports and $1 million worth of cover. It’s America’s best identity theft program and has been featured in various specialist magazines and on TV so the value of Lifelock shouldn’t be underestimated.

The website itself is really good, with an actual identity theft quiz on there. It’s certainly an eye opener if nothing else! Even better though, I have the skinny on Lifelock promo codes that could save you 10% of the price of a monthly subscription. If you choose to protect against identity theft after you’ve looked at the site then use the promo code RD17. You might as well as save money and protect your identity at the same time!

Save Money On Your Vacation With Low Fares

That time of year is here again people! Sun, relaxation and getting away from the problems at home for a week sounds like pure heaven to me right now, as I’m sure it does to you. I’m counting down the days until I go on vacation. It’s all booked up now, but many people are waiting until the last minute to book their week or weeks away in the hope of getting some great deals on cheap hotels. There are some deals out there that can save you a lot of money. After all, why pay a fortune when you can’t afford it and you’ll be paying it off until the next vacation?

However, acknowledgement of consumer wants and needs has led to a rise in discount and cheap deal travel companies that offer packages that can save you a lot of money no matter when you book or how far in the future you want to go. Of those, Low Fares is one of the best around. Low Fares has been around since 2002 but is currently coming into its own as a cheap airline tickets provider because of the poor state of the economy. Everyone needs a cheap holiday now more than ever, and Low Fares can definitely offer the possibility to you. You can book flights, hotels and car rentals, as well as build your own vacation if you like.

In terms of the travel capabilities of the site, you can actually choose your desired destination and then check through the deals. The site always seems to have the best deals and even has a news section so you can read up on what deals are available.

I can’t stress enough how important it is to save money where you can when going on vacation because you can end up adding to your debt or getting into it to start with. Getting the best deal is only a start. Take a look at the site to see what kind of deal you can get and then stay tuned here for tips to keep you under budget when you’re there!

Why Choose Independent Consumer Reviews

My car passed it's MOT last week - I was absolutely amazed, to say the very least. At the moment I have an old Corsa that is definitely falling to pieces (or at least I thought it was). If it lasts another year then I will be absolutely shocked. As a result, I've been looking around for ideas and prices of new cars. I think I may have just accidently stumbled upon one of the best consumer resources out there - the website of The Independent newspaper.

I have to say thatit is not the first place that I would have looked but I was searching for a Freelander. It is a car that I have always liked and is perfect for the area that I live in, which is quite rural, if a little out of my price range (the Land Rover Freelander 2 TD 4 HSE is £30,960), but a girl can dream.

Anyway, back to the review. The Independent reviewed the latest offering from Land Rover today so I was lucky to find it but I have found very few better reviews on the Internet so far. The Independent is known for its quality anyway, but the review covers everything from the price to the alternative cars available to the features... and even the driving experience.

We all know that checking out consumer and reporter reviews is better than relying on the biased information offered up by various companies about their own products, but if you do want a comprehensive overview of the Freelander, or anything else for that matter, the The Independent is a great place to start. Check out the review for yourself if you don't believe me. I guarantee that you'll be impressed... by the Frelander itself as well as the quality of the review! I definitely want one now!

Women In Business And Me!

As a woman that has her own business, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to try to make ends meet these days... and not only in terms of money. I mean in terms of my own well being and identity as well. I'm sure everyone needs inspiring every now and again, but I really feel like I do at the moment. Myself and my husband are that busy working and trying to save enough money for a house and get out of debt that I just feel drained. No offence guys, but I'm sure many other women feel that way too.

Juggling the home and the business can get really hard at times, and my stress levels are through the roof. I was wondering if anyone else felt the same. Well, my question was soon answered when I found Secret Womens Business.

Secret Womens Business is a blog written and maintained for women by a woman. It is actually incredibly insightful. Although it deals with women in business, it also deals with every other aspect of a woman's life too, from appreciating yourself to time management (which is something I need to learn about - mainly because I spend 14 hours a day working!).

The reason why I mention this blog is simply because it struck such a chord with me. It's not every day you can find a blog featuring such insightful articles about women and the issues they face such as relationships, employment, home, family, health and beauty. Sorry to exclude you from this one guys, but for all the women out there Secret Womens Business is definitely well worth a look.

A Quick Introduction To Unsecured Loans

Unsecured loans are the most popular types of loans around and yet it still baffles people when an article or person refers to one with its full title rather than simply as personal loans. This is where much of the confusion about different loans types has arisen. They are generally not explained and it is taken for granted that individuals understand the definitions. So what is the difference between unsecured loansand secured loans? How can they help to turn your finances around? And where can you get them from?

Unsecured loans are offered by banks and lenders up and down the country, so they are readily available and can be used for a whole variety of purposes. In truth, many people look towards unsecured loans for debt consolidation, in order to make a big purchase like a car or holiday, or to get their finances back on track and give them a little breathing space. This kind of personal loan is perfect for this purpose because you can generally borrow between £1,000 and £25,000 and make repayments over between one and seven years. As you can see, you have some choice to make!

However, the most crucial thing that you should know about unsecured loans, and what makes them different to secured loans, is that it is determined whether you get a loan by your credit scoring. You do not have to put your house up for security. That characterises the secured loan and so they are only available to homeowners with a mortgage that has enough equity to be able to repay the loan should you default on it. However, the unsecured loan is available to anyone, depending on your credit scoring of course. However, loan companies today do tend to cater for all wants and needs, including good credit and bad! So now you know what loans are and what distinguishes the different types so all you have to do is go and find the right ones for you!

Getting The Best Consumer Deals And Saving Money

I don't know about you but it seems like the cost of living is going up every single day at the minute. I went to my local store for milk, bread etc yesterday and emerged with one carrier bag and £13 lighter - daylight robbery! This is why it is really important to find good websites on the Internet for everything from effective consumer goods to cheap insurance to diet pills to value pet food... anything and everything you use in your day to day life should be a good deal.

The best way to find good deals is to find great websites, of which Prices Exposed is a prime example. It is a website but has a template that all other websites should follow. It is worth taking a look at it purely and simply to see just what can be done by companies that take the time to think about their customers.

Prices Exposed is an unbiased review site that draws on consumer comments and experiences to rate certain products. As such, you get all of the information you need from other people that have tried the product, which in this case is the top ten diet pills out there. By going to these sites first, we can all find the best possible deals by looking at unbiased opinions. Saving money is an absolute must so why not take advantage?

And Another One...

Oh, and here is one more I forgot in my earlier post: Rewards Central.

Rewards Central is also a cashback site, but it offers 5 free points a day for clicking through to an advertiser and for filling in a mini-poll. You can also invest your points in an e-bank to earn interest on them! The range of stores that offer cashback is good as well so you can easily accumulate points for a cheque here!

More Extra Cash Opportunities

If you read my previous post on places that offer paid surveys and cashback when shopping, you'll probably know that I regularly look around for a few more to join every now and again. There are plenty of paid survey sites out there that offer you cash per survey, per click or per pound spent. With the global economy in such a state and eople struggling to make ends meet everywhere then why not take the opportunity to earn a few extra pounds or dollars from the comfort of your own home?

Here are two more great sources of extra cash:

It's Your View - This is a fantastic source of extra cash. I've been taking surveys for them for a few years now and can honestly say that their surveys are amongst the best paying on the Internet. You earn £1 per 5 minutes of your time and are pretty much guaranteed to get a couple through every single week. Highly recommended.

HTMail - I've only just joined this one but it is a great pay per click site by all accounts. You click on emails and get cash. You can also opt to have mailings sent to your home that you also get paid for. It's availale in the US and the UK so you can literally get paid for doing nothing no matter where you are. You couldn't ask for more!

If you missed the last blog post I wrote on paid surveys then you can find it
here. I've also listed some of the links down the side of the page so take a look at them if you want a little extra cash.
